Taking your stand to a fair in Germany, France or Italy isn't just a matter of transport. Technical regulations change, deadlines change, and sometimes even the language of the documentation the venue requires changes. Here's what's usually different from building in Spain.
Stricter technical regulations in some countries
Fairs like those in Hannover or Frankfurt in Germany apply stricter safety and construction regulations than those usual in Spain, especially for double-height structures or suspended elements. It's worth confirming the specific venue's technical requirements before finalising the stand design.
Documentation in the local language
Some venues require technical and safety documentation in the country's language, not just in English. This mostly affects non-standard structures that need prior technical approval from the venue.
Different deadlines and hours
Assembly and dismantling windows vary from one country to another, and at some venues they're shorter than in Spain. This makes modular aluminium systems (guide in Spanish) even more recommendable outside Spain than within it, precisely because of how quickly they assemble.
Material logistics
Transporting your own material to another country adds customs times (outside the EU) and transport costs that don't exist at a domestic fair. That's why, on large international projects, we usually coordinate with specialist local companies that already have the material and know the venue, rather than moving everything from Spain.
